The 19139/45 Medal and New Zealand War Service Pair issued to Jack Roland De Norville for his service with the Royal New Zealand Air Force. This lot also comes with his paybook, certificates of discharge, dog tags, shoulder flashes and chevrons and an original OHMS envelope addressed to De Norville.

Jack de Norville was born 27th January 1908 at Oamaru, New Zealand. Son of William Ernest Alexander and Alice Elizabeth De Norville (née French). He was educated at the Oamaru Middle School before working in the banking sector at Napier. Jack's service papers have not been obtained, so details of his service during the war are unknown. He gained a diploma in banking in 1948 and became a banking accountant until his retirement. He died 23rd January 2004 at Napier and is buried in the Western Hills cemetery.
